Gear Set Lower Unit for Johnson Evinrude Outboard 150-250 HP V6 92-04

These gearsets are an exact replacement of the gears used in the 1986-1993 V6 and V8 OMC Cobra Sterndrives. They also replace the gears used in the 1990-1993 four-cylinder (except 1990 2.3L) OMC Cobra sterndrives. The standard-duty replacement gears are stronger than the original and can be used with the standard 1-3/16" diameter prop shaft (1986 -1990) or the heavy-duty 1 -1/4" diameter prop shaft (1991 -1993).
OMC Stringer Inboard Outboard
These gearsets are an exact copy of the gears used in the V6 and V8 OMC Sterndrives from 1978-1985 with mechanical shift* (not 1978-1980 with hydraulic shift).

*Many 1978-1980 OMC hydraulic shift lower gearcases have been replaced with the 1981-85 mechanical shift lower gearcase. 1978-1980 hydraulic shift gear sets are still available, GLM22620.

Johnson/Evinrude Outboards
These gear sets are an exact copy of the gears used in the 1978-2006 V6 90° Johnson / Evinrude Outboards with the large "O" type gear housing.
