Front and Rear Seal Kit for Velvet Drive 71 72 1004 1005 1017 1018 Series

Front and Rear Seal Kit for Borg Warner Velvet Drive Drive 71 72 1004 1005 1017 1018 Series marine transmissions.

Fits all 71 72 1017 1018 1:1 Direct Drive Transmissions (not the  Mercruiser TRS Transmission)

Fits all older series 71 and 72 series which have a 6 bolt seal holder behind the coupling to hold the seal. Does not fit 1017 or 1018 REDUCTION Transamissions..

Fits 1004 and 1005 Series V-Drive transmissions which use hex head bolts to hold the seal holder on the rear of the transmission.

In the 1960's Velvet drive transmissions used a 10 spline input shaft.  This does not fit any Velvet Drive with the 10 spline input shaft!

Kit includes front pump seal and O-ring and rear seal.
