Drain Cock 1/4 NPT for Engine Blocks Manifolds and Heat Exchangers

Drain Cock or Tap. Install this in any 1/4 NPT hole to allow for easy winterization. GM engine blocks and many exhaust manifolds use this size.

Tech Tip:

If you unscrew the drain and no water comes out, stick a small Phillips head screw driver in the hole. Many times sediment will clog the fitting and keep the water in. Do not assume there is no water in your engine.
