Knock Sensor for Mercruiser 4.3 TBI Throttle Body Injected Engines.

This sensor goes in the side of the engine block, in the water galley just above the oil pan and detects pre-ignition. Also called "detonation" or "spark knock", hence the term "Knock Sensor", and tells the computer to retard the ignition timing to prevent piston burning or valves.
